About
Welcome to the cozy and vibrant world of Round Earth Roasters, a hidden gem nestled on 518 Hendersonville Road in the beautiful city of Asheville, North Carolina. Renowned for its aromatic brews and delectable fare, this charming locale invites coffee aficionados and casual sippers alike to indulge in a truly delightful experience.
As I stepped into Round Earth Roasters, I was immediately struck by the warm ambiance and friendly staff, a sentiment echoed by many patrons. With glowing reviews highlighting the incredible quality of the coffee and exceptional service, it’s no wonder visitors like Amy Michael find themselves returning daily during their stay. The atmosphere is inviting, featuring a quaint side room perfect for enjoying a peaceful breakfast, making it an ideal spot for families or solo adventurers alike.
The coffee here is nothing short of stellar. Many have lauded their Dark Roast Brazil bean as one of the best in Western North Carolina, while the custom blends like the Helene Recovery Blend seamlessly combine dark and light flavors for a truly rich experience. What sets Round Earth Roasters apart is not just the quality of the beans, but also their dedication to sustainability. From their biodegradable cups to their high-quality, environmentally friendly ingredients, you can sip guilt-free knowing that each cup contributes positively to the planet.
Round Earth Roasters goes beyond just coffee; it also offers a delightful selection of pastries and sandwiches, crafted with care from their sister cafe. Patrons rave about the ham, egg & cheese ciabatta, a perfect companion to your morning coffee. The homemade syrups create a symphony of flavors, perfect for those who enjoy their drinks a bit sweeter. Additionally, options for gluten-free and vegan diets are thoughtfully considered, catering to a diverse range of dietary preferences.
However, while the standout dishes certainly shine, patrons have noted that not every treat hits the mark. For instance, some cookies may be a tad dry, but there are plenty of other options, like the beloved chocolate chip and breakfast cookies, to ensure your sweet tooth is satisfied.
In essence, Round Earth Roasters encapsulates everything a coffee shop should be—comfortable, eco-conscious, and bursting with flavor. As I sipped my coffee and observed the cheerful interactions between staff and customers, it was clear that this establishment is more than just a stop for coffee; it's a community hub where every visit feels like coming home. I can't recommend it highly enough—your next trip to Asheville shouldn’t be complete without a visit to this delightful cafe.
“ Been to Asheville many times, but stumbled upon this awesome place for breakfast... and ended up eating there everyday of our trip. GREAT coffee, excellent service, and a quaint little side room with an area to eat. Kids loved the mochas and their syrups are made in house. Will definitely come back when back in town! ”
“ The staff here was very knowledgeable and very friendly. They had a wonderful selection of goodies, smoothies, and some food. And of course a ton of coffee. Everything here is very environmentally friendly even the cups are biodegradable, and ingredients that use are very high quality. They have some options for vegan and gluten-free together. They said that everything is made in the same kitchen but they clean everything between each baking. So only you can help for for gluten free. We had cookies and smoothies and they were amazing! ”
“ I love this coffee shop, and am a recent first-time visitor to it. In the thousands of times I have driven H’ville road my whole life, I didn’t realize it was there. Until one day I saw it, and zipped in for some beans. Good life lesson there! We’ve tried 13 types of beans from WNC coffee shops, and their Dark Roast Brazil bean was one of our top favorites. I’m sipping on the Helene Recovery Blend right now (dark and light combined) and it’s delicious. The owner or manager is a wonder, also, because the place is always busy and she’s juggling a window and a counter with grace and kindness. ”
“ We love Round Earth Roasters. Close to the highway, has amazing sandwiches and pastries from their sister cafe (ham egg & cheese ciabatta is to die for), and several choices of caffeinated beverages. My child loves the smoothies, and their delicious raspberry muffins are why he wanted me to write this review! Go get some! ”
“ Excellent, friendly, efficient service. The great coffee and homemade syrups are noteworthy. My friend had a muffin that she liked, and I tried a peanut butter cookie. It was a wee bit too dry, maybe overcooked, just like last time. But plenty of other cookies we've had, chocolate chip, the breakfast cookie, etc, are delicious. ”
“ Round Earth Roasters is the kind of place that instantly feels welcoming. The staff is always friendly, genuine, and clearly passionate about what they do. On top of that, the coffee is consistently top-notch—smooth, rich, and thoughtfully sourced. Easily one of my favorite local spots for both the quality and the vibe. Highly recommend! ”
“ Great fresh coffee and tea. I had a breakfast sandwich with egg and cheese on ciabatta that was made on the spot. , hot from the oven, and very filling. Friendly, caring staff. This is a must visit coffee shop ”
“ Best smoothies in town! I always stop here when I need a boost. Raspberry coconut and super coffee are my favorites! Rae is the best and always remembers my order! Awesome chill spot. ”
